Recently, Brian Summers VE7JKZ successfully mailed a Vibroplex key to an amateur – Nick UR6QV / UT5Q – in Zaporizhia, Ukraine. Even with winter storms, one scary war, and general airline incompetence it took just three weeks.
The key was donated to WARA by Wally Firth VE8WF then repaired by Brian. Subsequently Nick UR6QV bought the Vibroplex and that money was donated to WARA. Below is a photo of the “well-packaged” key which had been just unwrapped by Nick.
