2023
What to bring
- Your Royal Victoria Marathon (or generic high visibility) reflective vest.
- Make sure to dress warm and in layers suitable for the weather forecast usually including a hat.
- Pack enough water and food to last for the duration of your shift. They are often provided, but not guaranteed for all locations.
- Bring your own radio and a secondary fully charged battery or extra hand held radio.
- Pen and printed out marathon documents.
- A folding camp chair, unless you are assigned to a vehicle.
- Optional small binoculars.
- A cellular telephone is recommended in case it is necessary to call 911.
